All of you who have to "make do with"
All of you who have to "make do with" a boring patch of asphalt now that playgrounds have to be shared: Children suggest that some of the best things we've had to play with are what we find in nature and at flea markets/second-hand shops.
Old pots, saucepans, ladles and whisks in together with pine cones, saddles, stones, gravel, leaves, sticks and seff WATER! This can be taken into a playground and have just as much fun there. Also fun with large painting brushes from car themes etc. Fun to paint on the asphalt with saltwater!
