The Adventure of Goldilocks
First, my ped.leader introduced the adventure in assembly, while we dramatized with figures and concrete. Foiled pictures of bears, Goldilocks, beds, bowls and chairs were hung on the wall at the children's height so that the children can point, take the pictures down, retell and play with them.
In the next session we talked about size with the children; Small-medium-large. Then a lot of concrete was placed on the floor in front of the children. One by one was allowed to come forward and find 3 bowls/ 3 spoons/ 3 bears etc. They then had to place the concrete in the correct place in relation to size. The children, between 2-4 years old, were very good and felt great mastery!
