I used a salad spinner

It seems that 17 May this year will also be affected by corona. Last year I made a joint picture where all the children could make their unique 17 May rosette (circular or cut like a flower).

I used a plastic salad spinner and the children put their self-cut piece of paper in it, they got to pour some paint in red, white and blue, and then they cranked the salad spinner at full speed. Exciting to open, and the beauty is that no one is the same, only unique. The lettuce wrap can be washed and used with other colors if you want flowers etc. All the rosettes were glued onto a large canvas frame (with chewing gum so they could be easily removed) and the canvas was later repainted into something completely different. Reuse, multi-use and creativity!
