Will try this next week: The preschool children will learn about the proportions in the Norwegian flag. (6+1+2+1+12)
Cardboard 73.5x53.5cm is large enough to line up, so the flag pattern can be laid with yogurt caps. You need 210 red, 64 white and 68 blue. Unfortunately, there are few blue corks, so we have picked stones and painted them.
This flag is placed together in the group before everyone gets to draw their own flag. The corks are collected after the session and the whole thing can be used in the neighboring department the next day. Thinking of saving this for next year as well. Possibly upgrade with a wooden panel!
