Want to share one of our Christmas gifts with you
It is the school start group that has made this gift. Here we have been on a trip in the forest where the children picked sticks.
Then the children chose between red, green and white yarn which they spun around the stick. Some chose one and some two colours, but they got it exactly as they wanted.
Next was that they chose 6 pieces to write letters on, Merry Christmas. The pieces were in the shapes of heart, star and round, they could place the pieces in whatever pattern they wanted before we wrote the letters.
Then we hung the pieces together either with a small ring or desired yarn, and then yarn to hang the decoration in, (we adults knot knots)
All the children have done everything themselves, some with a little more guidance, but still the children have done it themselves.
