Language work - birds
We use the Talk Pack as an educational tool in language work. There are themes for each month, and in April it is about birds, among other things.
We also link in what the subject area nature environment and technology from the framework plan for kindergartens says about this topic. The children learn about the migratory birds that are coming back now, and the children at Haren have learned about the Linerla and the Chaffinch, but they also know the names of many other birds. The children get to know the appearance, sounds of birds and habitat. The children get to express themselves both with imagination, creative thinking and creative joy when we work with this here in the nursery.
