"Someone" found a wooden block, we drew a keyboard on it, and thus "everyone" would call. Good advice was expensive, but the materials were cheap.
A cardboard box, scissors, glue and marker were found, and production was underway. "Everyone" tripped impatiently, the result was popular. There were both old-fashioned and more contemporary "mobiles", and of course there were some "pädders" too!
