Thank you for many good ideas for Sami week/day
Love the sharing culture in here. We chose Sami week to get to know Sami traditions better in the toddler ward.
What a fantastic fun week we have listened to joik, learned to count to three in Sami (2-3 years old), say hi and have it, listened to the bear sleeping, bae bae little lamb in Sami, built lavvo, painted Northern lights, colored the Sami flag, food group where the children helped make the dough for Sami thin bread to then fry on a griddle and looked at the nice costume they are wearing, as well as other things.
Fantastic fun when we adults get involved, it rubs off on the children. Again, thanks for all the inspiration.
