The leather mitten
The story of the leather mitten is a theme with us in a group of 2-year-olds, and it is very popular.
We have, among other things, painted a large mitten where the children have pasted pictures of themselves - all the children had a place in the mitten.
We have also created another picture that illustrates the adventure. Here the children have painted the canvases, helped make and paint the animals out of, among other things, milk cartons. They have collected twigs, grass and sticks on the trip which we have glued on, and they have helped decide where the animals should be placed. The children show great interest and commitment, and it has been fun to make the pictures over a longer period of time, and that they have been involved in the various processes.
