The symbol for these terms.
Today the experts from Prestmosen FUS went for a walk in the forest. We practiced the concepts greater than/less than and by introducing the mathematical symbol for these concepts.
We used crocodile mouths. We explained to the children that the crocodile is hungry and that it always wants to eat where there is the most, so it yawns towards it. We divided the children into groups and the CROCODILE, ate the side where the most children are standing, therefore it yawns hugely towards that side. Afterwards, all the children each got a set of laminated crocodile mouths and they used pine cones, stones and sticks and made puzzles for each other. The children thought it was great fun and several quickly showed which way the crocodile's mouth should gape.
