The PANG game
I would like to recommend a fun game I have called the PANG game, which I use for language and pronunciation training.
This is what you need:
- Popsicle sticks (at the pharmacy you can buy popsicle sticks/tongue spatulas, 100 pieces for NOK 45).
- Small pictures to put on the tip of the sticks.
- A cup or something else to put the sticks in.
This is how we play :
- The pictures are attached to the tip of the sticks with e.g. tack-it.
- Then we put the sticks with the picture side down into the cup. Now no one can see which photos are on the pins.
- Then you pull a stick every other time. Whoever pulls a stick must say the word on the stick they pull.
- More children can play, and it's fun to collect more and more and more sticks... until it says BANG! On top of the cup are a couple of sticks with a picture of BANG! And if you get the PANG picture... yes, you'll lose all the pins/pictures you've collected.
It gets really nerve-wracking to pull a stick, you never know when BANG will come??
If anyone wants ready-made small pictures that fit the pins, they are on the idea bridge buy, sell and exchange.
