Advent calendar of empty nut boxes
I have made advent calendars for my department. There are only 21 boxes, bearing in mind that we are never 24 days in the nursery during Advent.
We are very pleased with that particular choice. There are empty small nut boxes that have been used and an old corkboard. The pine cones are picked in the yard to be painted with a little gesso. It's fake spruce. Birch bark stars bought a long time ago at nille or something like that.
