Here is a language activity that raises awareness children in rhyme. Identify things that rhyme with each other, and put them in a large bag or a box.

The children collected. The adult activity starts by saying / reading a rhyme, a verse or a poem that is known for the kids, who have some rhymes (the kids can join in too.) Then you talk about what that rhymed verse. (For example: Did you hear that troll rhymed twelve? TROLL - TWELVE!) Have the children repeat and say rhymes repeatedly in unison, and pull like to highlight the many examples of verse.

So attention is directed at things that the adults in the bag. Take out a few things at a time. Together, you find out what rhymes. ?? Eg. compression sock on the lid, and comb on lambs.

You naming and listener finds Rimpar and puts the pairs together. As you have found all the pairs, repeated rimparene yet again. Perhaps you can together make a verse or rhyme with any of these rhymes?
