Get to know our little critters
Self-composed soil and plastic small crawlers.
Now the children are very keen to find fields, goblins, spiders etc. when we are out. We have followed the children's interests and dyed our sense rice (=ordinary rice) black. On top of the rice (soil) there is now a nice selection of insects, caterpillars and other small critters. It is exciting to play with and, like other sensory activities, it is the child who decides the content of the game. There is no right or wrong here! You can hide away/look for individual or all animals, there are many possibilities here!
Just to be safe, to avoid misunderstandings: these are plastic animals!!!
