Russia
This month we have had the theme of celebration and joy and as a finale today we have had a simple "Russian celebration" according to the children's wishes!
The smallest were pink soot, the middle ones were blue and the largest were red. The children celebrate that the smallest go from being butterflies to squirrels, the middle ones become foxes and the biggest start school. A new era for everyone! The children themselves have made hats from cardboard plates, they have made string with beads and the first letter of their name. They have also each received their own Russian card. We had a "christening" and those who wanted got some water in their hair. When they went to the toilet they went backwards and when we ate we sat under the table. This was incredible fun for the children.
