Two planks glued together with tec7 - and screwed together (90 degrees) become the chute itself. Tubs from Ikea or others with a bit of wood as support... Holes for pipes. Tec7 around the pipes makes it tight... Can be further developed, painted (I used spray paint)... Water wheels, boats, buckets, spades, cups, dish-brooms and tufts... Rain clothes and boots... Foam. Colour . Unexpected possibilities. Waiting for a turn, cooperation, wonder, play, meaningful activity, learning...
When we put the chute on milk crates, one pipe was just high enough to get the bucket under/at a nice height for the 2-5 year olds. If we put it down, it is at the perfect height for the little ones.
