The one lovely Christmas present after

The second one is made here in Trollskogen! Today these gnomes were packed. Together with the children, we went for a walk in the forest and sawed down trees that

We then sawed up into small stumps and beveled. We made gnomes out of the stumps. The children themselves chose which stumps they wanted, and quickly the big stumps became mums and dads and the smaller ones became siblings and babies. Someone started making their family and it ended with everyone wanting to do the same! We got to practice many things along the way: how many of us there are in the family, how many eyes and how many noses the family has, large and small. Many nice conversations about the fact that a family can look like many different ways. We also attached a small note, freely told from the child's mouth, where the child tells about who is in the family and what he/she likes to do with his family. A nice activity where the children have been involved in the whole process.
