Homemade Plastelina / modeling clay / putty
Homemade modellkitt. Be the coolest parents in the street, by teaching you how to quickly and easily create homemade modellkitt.
Here love the kid to sit and knead the putty, and those you buy at the store smells often chemicals and are expensive. So why not make it home in a few minutes with ingredients you usually have from before.
Ingredients
• 2.5 dl flour
• 1 dl salt
• 1 tablespoon citric acid powder (Most grocery stores have it in the back shelf)
• 2.5 dl water
• 1 tablespoon oil
• Food coloring (The from the grocery store works just fine, but for
stronger colors as the picture must use pasta color that you get
in special distributors.) Method
• First mix the dry; flour, salt and citric acid powder in a bowl.
• Boil the water, add the oil, and pour it into the bowl. Stir. Although
I use a tablespoon to stir with, then it quickly becomes very hard to stir. It should first be very sticky and humid, but it accumulates gradually and becomes firm and fine in texture as buying variant.
• Let the dough cool.
• Play!
food coloring can either be in the water prior to mixing or kneading it into the dough afterwards. Depending on whether you want it all in one color, or want more colors in the kit. Although I prefer to mix a lot of food coloring in the water, before I mix it with the dry goods.
