rainbow Project

rainbow Project

For each month, we worked with one color. We finished with a party with the month color. Disko with fixing lunch afterwards.

Red pancakes and yellow bowls and green soup. (Among other things) Incredibly fun to work with. Very systematically and slowly.

Every Wednesday we share ourselves into three groups. Language sense and food group. On language group we had a rainbow adventure (self-composed, how the sun and the cloud created the rainbow) Song of the colors (yellow month we sang about the sun for example.) We had a monthly placard with an overview of what was green in the green month. (Also on) Sense group played with color, in terms of all of the spaghetti to water. Food group made carrot soup every Wednesday in orange month. When we went on tour we had color bingo. At the party decked we have a whole room in the month color. Dansa. On the wall, next month's Color Chart, we hung each month a new strip on a huge rainbow. (We started with red, worked our way down) The children made art every week based on the color. Everything from hand prints that were goldfish to abstract playing with paint. These are just some of what we did.

Picture taken at my house. I've done the same project with my daughter at 2.8 years. Very nice to have these glasses on the windowsill and watch the sun shine through the colors.
