Has developed a great interest in TMNT (Teenage Mutant Ninja TURTLES) in our older children's department.
The children actively talk about this, and we see that the play is also inspired by this. We have talked a lot about what a ninja is, and what types of ninjas you have. Have you heard of 'dancing ninjas' by the way? We have several of them here in the nursery :) We have used what nature has to offer, and last week, for example, a pile of stones was turned into wolf ninjas that caught bad guys underneath the root of an old tree in our outdoor playground (see pictures)... and today it happened: The whole gang of turtles moved into our outdoor playground... delivered by a real kitchen ninja!
