Today we have a themed party in the older children's ward
The children decided that the theme should be "Play". Those who wished could bring a toy from home. This had to be a toy you dare share.
And which can be a pleasure for many. We have different types of rules games throughout the day, and many typical May 17 inspired games/competitions such as tug-of-war, potato race, guessing competition etc. Recently, ninja turtles have been extra popular in the department (see previous posts here on Facebook), so the children have Today I got to help make the Ninja Turtles' favorite dish: Pizza. Of course, we couldn't "just make a normal pizza", a turtles special with us means that the base is in the turtles' colors, and that the topping is the turtles' favorite: Pepperoni. We also made pizza with minced meat and ham...something for every taste, and meat from several types of animals (see pictures). We used confiture coloring to color the pizza base, and we had to explore and mix until we had all the right colours: purple, orange, blue and red.
