Today, in the 1st class, we practiced something
I wish it was done even more in the nursery (there are certainly many who do it too!) -namely cutting.
I have a lot of frustrated kids who cut wrong or don't get the lines when we do different things in arts & crafts.
If anyone is interested, I came up with something as simple as using symbols in Word to practice cutting out.
Afterwards, they were allowed to use the house and put on the circle as sun, moon, pool or breeding cage (we are from Hitra, after all)
A lot of creativity among the 6-year-olds and most wanted to try the hose (for further cutting) also at the end of the lesson.
