Growing sunflower in cotton and bag
In the toddlers department where I work, we try something new.
We put sunflower seeds in water for about 1 hour. Moistened cotton and put it in a ziplock bag. So now we are excited to see if it will sprout. It will be exciting for young and old to follow the entire process from seed to flower. When it has sprouted a little, we will plant it in soil.
