Challenge: CREATE THE SOIL KITCHEN
Encourages everyone to find planks, pallets, old saucepans, -whatever you have to find, and make a SÖLEKKJÖKKEN It doesn't take much...and gives the children a lot of inspiration in outdoor play
The trick is to have something "real" to play with, like pots, boxes,
reusable materials such as milk cartons, egg cartons, etc.
When I brought this up, one of the children exclaimed:
-Oooooh, now we can make waffles!
And don't be afraid to take out some flour, semolina etc., which they can mix in the sand/mould
(but NOT rice....the birds eat it, and die, and NOT cocoa,
the four-legged ones can't stand it)
It is enough, just to have some nice boxes, pots, etc. in the sandbox, too
Try!
