Then our "egg to hen" project is finished

3 older children's departments again went down to the farm, this time to deliver 11 small chickens to the farm. Children, staff and parents have enjoyed themselves during the project.
We have hung up pictures of eggs, chicks and hatching and we have wondered together that we have the same organs in the body and yet we look so different. Had a joint meeting with a powerpoint presentation with video of hatching and pictures of the whole process and summed up together as a fantastic experience. We ended today with an Easter hunt since the Easter Bunny thought we needed some encouragement we want to do this next year as well.
