I see several people who have worked with Hakkebakkeskogen here
We have been working on this for 2 months and the kids love it. They live in this world all day, sing and really enjoy this theme.
We have a large room in the department that has been made to look like the forest. With each passing week, the room fills up more and more. This is how we have worked with the theme:
- joint meeting for the entire kindergarten with the fox and the baker and the baker boy
- had a dress-up day where Father Teddy came to visit and it was a grand celebration for him
- made hand puppets that suddenly ran away one day, had to look for them in the forest.
- found a tree for climbing mouse in the forest where he sits safely placed.
- had a meeting under the oak tree in the forest where we talked about how we should be towards each other.
- made costumes for the dress-up day (guitar, fox tails and hedgehog masks)
- been to the cinema and watched the film
- played bakery with gingerbread
- baked buns and ate them in the baker's bakery
- painted with baking equipment
- had laundry day
This remains to be done;
- paint bears
- make hedgehogs in spelled dough and pine cones
- get granny wood mice up on the wall, the children will be able to make their own umbrellas
- looking for hummingbirds in the forest
