It is often difficult to convey the Easter story to children
Since it is about death, resurrection and lots of other different emotions. But what is so wonderful about this particular booklet is that the children here.
If the Easter message is served through 7 COMPLETELY FINISHED EASTER COLLECTIONS in a creative, fun, simple and nice way, and we adults get a completely ready-made tool that is ready with songs, stories, tasks and "visualizations", then we don't have to itch in our heads year after year about how and whether we should bother to tell the Easter message =) It is so much easier to tell about Easter chickens and hares, but: "The story of Jesus is so exciting, and a little scary, and it goes all right in the end" <3
I can HIGHLY RECOMMEND this booklet!! =) Here you get suggestions for an Easter game (with illustrative pictures of how to make different items for an Easter walk), a CD with 4 catchy songs (with sheet music) + the karaoke version of these so you can sing yourself. As said above, there are also 7 finished gathering sessions with 7 themes: The entry into Jerusalem, the washing of the feet, the Passover meal, the Garden of Gethsemane, Peter denies Jesus, Jesus dies and the resurrection. (In my kindergarten we chose to combine the gatherings: the washing of the feet + the Easter meal and Jesus' death + the resurrection).
