We have been working on the theme of WITCHCRAFT for a while now

Which I published pictures of in here a while ago. The children have been very engrossed in trolls and Cinderella for a long time.

And we have had a lot of good role play in the ward and in Trollhula, which one room had been converted into, as well as repeated dramatizations of various adventures that the children requested many times a week. They also loved to dramatize the adventures themselves, with the support of an adult narrator. Now we see that the interest has waned a bit and since we are approaching Christmas, we took a turn in the project; the troll came to visit wearing sunglasses, a bathrobe and a huge suitcase with him. He handed over a letter stating that he was going on a trip south with his family and needed the children's help to pack his things into his suitcase. It also said that a friend was going to borrow the troll's den and that we had to clean it up. In preparation for the troll's move, we (adults) spent a week moving out the tree, the treasure chest and other things, which created wonder and many conversations in the children's group, such as where the tree had gone, whether someone had stolen it, etc.< /p>

Now the troll cave has been transformed and on Wednesday the barn gnome will appear on the trip we are going on. He needs help to find the way to a cave that he was supposed to borrow from his good friend the troll. Now we use the time to wonder together with the children about what kind of mate we think will move into the troll's cave.

We will dramatize stories about the Santa in the barn and about Snekker Andresen to give the children inspiration for play. We also see that the children play with dogs a lot, and have therefore made several boxes with sheepskin that the children can use to lie in. After all, Santa Claus lives on farms and then it is good to find the farm animals again and to visit the farm which is right nearby - maybe the barn owl will appear there too! And we will at least get to meet the extremely cuddly dog who lives there!

We have brought even more sticks, pine cones, sticks and logs into the department - so it will be fun to see how the children take this into play in the future! Up until now, sticks have been used as porridge spoons, knives, axes and to attach to the scraper now that we have played a lot with Ashkeladden racing the troll!

Since we are approaching Christmas and winter, the forest in the main room has been supplemented with white "snow"
