Pick lots of fir shoots and put them in water

Spruce shoot syrup made on a granary base. Pick lots of fir shoots and put them in water. Boil 1 liter of fir shoots in 1.5 liters of water and cook for about 25 minutes.

Strain off the fir shoots, before boiling the water with 6dl of sugar. Let it cook until it changes color. Pour it into containers and refrigerate.

We made 3 liters of fir shoots, so with us all the children each got a glass home.
