TASSLE TEDDY
Simple activity, where the children manage most of it themselves. It takes some time to make them, (about 1 1/2 hours), but the joy of mastering is all the greater when the teddy bear is completely finished.
I have sat with one and one child. Then there will be time for guidance and good conversations along the way.
Two tassels are made, one slightly larger than the other. 6 small tassels are needed, for ears, arms and legs. The ear tassels are slightly smaller than the other four.
We wrapped and wrapped (and wrapped) yarn around a plastic case for alcohol markers. (About the size of an iPhone 10). We made the smallest ones by tying twine around a wooden block, approx. 2 cm sides.
When we agreed that there was enough lashing, we took off the twine, tied a tight knot around the middle and then the child cut up the threads at both ends. Then it will be a dud. Finely cut/tweak the threads on the tassel, so that it is smooth and nice. The children thought this was great fun.
Glue the tassels together with a glue gun. You can also sew them together. Glue on eyes, nose/mouth.
Vipps - then Daddy Teddy is ready to play and cuddle!
