In our kindergarten we started with singing
Congratulations on Kindergarten Day. In our kindergarten we started by singing "Lion Law" because the Rainbow Lion came to visit and she also thinks it's okay to be different.
We had a meeting where two employees looked at differences between the two - looked in the heart mirror (hair color and length, eyes, which colors they liked in clothes etc.) The children also got to see in the mirror that they were different from each other. The two employees were different, but still they worked in the same bhg - there they were alike because they both like to be with children. They went for a walk and wore different colors on their suits and hats. In the bag they had different contents depending on their interest. She likes to look for birds when she goes on walks, so she had a Bird Book, birdhouse and tools with which she could carve a birdhouse. She had two birds with her...they were different in color and sound but still together because they were both birds. She also had crackling bread as a packed lunch. The other one had various small insects in her bag and a magnifying glass because she liked to look for small insects on walks. All the little critters were different but still together because they are all little critters. She also had spelled lump with toppings as a snack. At the end of the trip, they took all the children in bras on a trip while singing the friend song "All need a little friend".
Then the toddler wards were allowed to come forward and dance Baby shark in front of everyone, and then the adults got to show "Are you very happy and you know it". In the end, everyone danced to Bli with the song "God nok" because we are all good enough even though we are different, and we are together. Afterwards, waffle hearts and fruit in the colors of the rainbow were served. We had also made puzzles out of the children's faces to show that we are "different together".
