"Captain Seagull and the Knight"
There haven't been many children in Gnist Skogstunet in recent weeks, but then it's also extra nice to take plenty of time to do something together.
My friend wanted a sword and a knight's helmet, and inspired by the Bridge of Ideas, this was exactly what was made. The seagull mask is also the child's idea. Fantastic fun to have such one-on-one time both in creative construction and dramatic play!
The knight's sword is made from a longer piece of cardboard, folded, glued and taped together, with an extra cardboard guard. The helmet is made from a corner from a cardboard box and a folded short side from the same box, interspersed with some foil and colored cardboard. Some pictures attached to show the steps.
