We found a pup in the grass. Took it into a small box of small holes. After a week it had crawled out of the tits and become a great night heater.
Good lesson about metamorphosis. Exciting to study the wings, pupa and remains of the ama. Used microscope to study details. I found out that it was a RUSTWING SPINE. It was released when the children had seen it. Fortunately, I don't have a phobia of night owls!
