Here are tips for a fun sentence game
I have made boards with three empty squares at the bottom. We first draw yellow cards with a picture of a noun, and place it in the first box.
Then draw a red card with a picture of the verb, and a blue card with a picture of where the action will take place. It is both exciting and fun to draw cards and make sentences based on which picture you get.
Then we can talk about the sentence we get, whether there is something that can happen, or whether it is just nonsense. What actually happens if you bake muffins in a swimming pool. And can a shark actually drive a car on the roof of a house. And what about the slimy snail, can it cough in the sandbox. Can we hear it then.
Here are examples of funny phrases you can get:

• The creepy pirate drinks smoothie in the clothes basket
• The grumpy old man eats pizza in the wardrobe
• The silly clown skates on the sofa
